The Sueno Mittens are worked seamlessly in stockinette stitch in the round from the bottom up.
You begin by casting on the required number of stitches, then work a folded edge that imitates a ribbing. Next, continue knitting in stockinette stitch while shaping the thumb opening. The stitches are then divided into two parts: the main section of the mittens and the thumb, and each part is worked separately. After reaching the desired height of the main section, begin shaping the top of the mittens. Finally, pick up stitches and knit the thumb.
The stitches are closed using the Kitchener method.
