The Gossip Sweater is worked from top to bottom, partly in rows and partly in rounds without seaming. The sweater is worked using a structured stitch with openwork.
You start by working the back of the sweater up to the armhole. The back is worked in rows using short German rows to shape the profile of the shoulders. Then you work the right and left shoulder in rows while shaping the neckline. In the next step, the front and back are joined together and worked in rounds. The body is finished with a 1×1 stitch.
The sleeves are joined to the body using a seamless pick-up technique. The sleeves are worked in rounds while simultaneously reducing stitches to shape the shape of the sleeves. The sleeves are finished with a 1×1 stitch.
The collar is attached to the body using a seamless pick-up technique. The collar is worked in rounds using a 1×1 stitch.
