The Keep It Warm Hat is a timeless knitting pattern designed to keep you cozy during the coldest winter days. It is worked seamlessly from the bottom up, in the round.
The design uses the reversed half-brioche stitch, which gives the hat an elastic structure and a beautiful texture that remains classic for years.
You begin with the Italian cast-on, which provides a stretchy and neat edge, perfect for hats. The first step is knitting the folded brim to your preferred height, adding both warmth and style. Next, you continue with the main body of the hat in the textured stitch pattern that highlights the softness and structure of the yarn. Finally, the crown is shaped with double decreases, giving the hat a neat, rounded finish. The stitches are bind off together at the end, leaving a clean top and a beanie that’s ready to wear.
