This design is knitted top-down seamlessly in a stockinette stitch, partly flat and in the round.
You will begin by knitting the back until the underarms. While increasing the stitches, you create a decorative effect at the back. Then, separately knit each shoulder at the front while shaping the neckline at the same time. The front and the back will then be joined together and the rest of the body will be knitted in the round. Next, you will pick up stitches along the armholes for working the sleeves in the round. The ribbing is knitted with a 1×1 rib stitch pattern . The turtleneck is knitted from picked-up stitches along the neckline and worked in a 1×1 rib stitch.
