The Airy Essential Cardigan is knitted seamlessly in stockinette stitch using a top down technique ( crochet flowers require sewing). The body and collar are worked flat, while the sleeves from the armholes are worked in rounds.
First, you expand the raglan while shaping the neckline by adding stitches. Then you shape the raglan itself, up to the armholes. At this point, the stitches are divided between the body and sleeves, and each part is worked separately until the ribbing. The ribbings are worked with a 1×1 stitch.
In the next step, you make the collar using the seamless method. And finally, you do the Icord binding and crochet flowers.
